The AppleCare+ plan for iPhone 7 Plus costs $129 + tax = $140. AppleCare+ comes with a bonus: It also covers 2 accidental damage. If you break your device, or even drop it in the pool, Apple will repair or replace the your iPhone for a set fee of $79.
I checked with Authorized Apple Service Centers in Chennai - like Imagine, Access, Currentz etc..
They informed me the phone can be serviced here in India if there is an issue and with the IMEI number of the phone they were able to reassure that for the next 2 years phone is covered under Indian warranty.
Regarding accidental damage - they said that feature is not available in India yet.
Pricing:
I purchased this phone for 869 + 72 = $941
Apple Care + = 129 + 11 = $140
Total = $1081 (approx Rs. 69,650)
The phone is about 50 days old, hardly shows any usage. I am willing to sell this phone for the price of Rs. 58,990.
I have reduced Rs. 10,660 for just 50 days.
Reason for selling:
I have shifted to India and my company has bought me a new phone. I didn't use this phone for the past 2 weeks and hence I decided to upload an ad on Olx.
