Global Procurement is responsible for establishing the programs to acquire products and services for BNY Mellon by employing deep category knowledge and commodity expertise, coupled with an understanding of the needs of our businesses and business partner groups.
The Corporate Treasury group is responsible for managing the investment portfolios and the liquidity and capital positions of the various subsidiary banks and of BNY Mellon.
Description
-          Prepare general ledger balance sheet account reconciliations (Medium and High Complexity)  to meet the corporate standard/ GL Reconciliation policy requirements and internal operating procedures.
-          Review General ledger balance sheet account reconciliations (Medium Complexity)  to meet the corporate standard/ GL Reconciliation policy requirements and internal operating procedures.
-          Support AM / OM to ensure recons are compliant with applicable Corporate Accounting Policies and GAAP
-          Help the team analyze the account functioning and prepare detailed Account Profiles as prescribed by the policy
-          Create accounting training manuals
-          Perform regular routine Quality Assurance reviews (QA reviews) on sample reconciliations from across the Finance reconciliations team of the Low and Medium complexity reconciliations to confirm that quality is being upheld and the global reconciliations policy complied with
-          Develop expertise and act as SPOC for Low complexity accounts
-          Conduct Reconciliations Knowledge Tests within the team on a periodic basis to test the knowledge of the staff
Qualifications
Graduate/ PG with relevant experience would be preferred
